After my 17th birthday at the end of November, I initially started to learn to drive with a different company, however I felt very held back and hardly progressed at all. Consequently I moved over to Right Direction Driving School after passing my Theory test and started lessons in February. Rob was really friendly and easy to get on with. I found Rob was a very experienced instructor who gave me lots of encouragement and was always very calm and never shouted despite some very silly mistakes!
Lesson lengths could be one or two hours with flexible times during my time at school. It was possible for my lessons to start or end from home, school or work and it made fitting my lessons into my busy schedule a lot easier! Rob was often early before my lessons making sure that the full time for tuition which was paid for at a very comptitive rate was always available.
The routes varied giving me extra preparation for my test where my parents were not always keen to go with me, busy towns, dual carriageways etc. Right Direction Driving School use a range of learning aids including quizes, lesson handouts, e-learning and books.
My experience was only positive and I successfully passed my driving test first time in May. Despite choosing not to do the Pass Plus Course, Rob let me complete the Motorway Module and took me for a two hour lesson to boost my confidence, knowledge and experience in driving at high speed.

My experience with Right Direction Driving School was brilliant. I'm very nervous at meeting new people but I was made to feel totally at ease and was taught easily and praised in all the right ways. I was made to feel that 'Yes, I can do this' and that I was capable of driving. I have since gone on to recommend several people as I think that Robin is a brilliant instructor!
The worksheets and website were brilliant in helping refresh, and continuing to aid learning after a lesson.
I am still thanking Robin every day in helping me to pass my test as I felt that I would never manage it because of my own fears. I now have a new lease of life and I can take my children to the beach etc. Big smiles all round.
